D-Mannose

White crystalline powder with a characteristic sweet taste, highly soluble in water, forming a colorless transparent solution.

Mannose is one of the so-called. minor or essential sugars - the blocks from which all large carbohydrates and glycoprotein, as well as glycolipid complexes, are composed; in particular, mannose is part of many glycoproteins, especially immunoglobulins. With insufficient consumption of mannose in food, the synthesis of immunoglobulins is disrupted, immunoglobulins with a disrupted structure of the carbohydrate part are formed, which ultimately leads to a disruption of the natural immune response.
